Great Wheelbarrow Race 2026 -- Mareeba to Chillagoe, May 8-10
The iconic 140km Great Wheelbarrow Race returns May 8-10, running from Mareeba to Chillagoe via Dimbulah, Petford, and Almaden. Since 2007 the event has raised over $2.6 million for charity. Online registrations for new teams are now closed.
